The connector is the only piece of Patcherly that touches your machine. It watches your logs, sends us the error, and applies the fixes you approve. It never uploads your code, and it takes a backup before it writes anything.
Connector source is open. Read it before you run it: that is rather the point.
Easiest route is the Connect modal in your dashboard, which hands you the command with your pairing code already in it. Or run these directly. WordPress skips all of this and installs from the plugin directory.
